Many years ago my brother, Timmy, began creating his talent cooking for others. I think he realized it really wasn’t so much about the cooking but watching how much people really loved and enjoyed his art—and that’s what it is an art because he loves it. Somewhere along the way he started playing around with a sauce that he found people went crazy over and always asked him if he could make them some. He worked on it tirelessly and perfected it to the point he couldn’t keep up with the demand for it. Also, he realized it was not just one dimensional but was good on just about everything. He was amazed what people were putting it on—meats, vegetables, baked potatoes, salads, seafood, crackers, potato chips, and even pizza just to name a few.
While at our family home in Charleston one weekend we talked about what a great idea it might be to bottle it and spread the good word (sauce). That simple conversation sitting around with a couple of beverages and telling old stories turned into our dream today and what we think will be the next trend setting condiment that has the potential to be loved and enjoyed by the thousands.
